Acknowledging the NIHR NCRF

It is a contractual requirement that any communication arising from NIHR-funded or supported research that enters the public domain, including publications, press releases, websites, presentations, posters and participant materials, must do the following:

  • Use the new NIHR identity
  • Correctly acknowledge the NIHR

Why do I need to acknowledge the NIHR Newcastle CRF?

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) requires NIHR Newcastle CRF support to be acknowledged in all research outputs.

If you are publishing research findings as a paper, article or report for publication, you must include an acknowledgement and disclaimer.

The NIHR have recently updated their visual identity, including new logos, colours, typefaces and templates. It is important to use this appropriately.
