I am a Clinical Trial Coordinator for the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
I am part of a Team of 5 Trial Coordinators who are responsible for the management and co-ordination of all the essential documentation necessary to conduct both commercial and non-commercial clinical research projects through the CRF – Clinical Research Facility, CARU – Clinical Aging Research unit and the Dental CRF.
I make sure all regulatory, ethics and other applicable approvals are obtained, whilst providing input at the feasibility/design stage of a trial in relation to the Facility’s capabilities and resources, utilising research experience and initiative.
I have regular contact with a range of personnel both internal and external, acting as the main point of contact for regional, national and international queries.
