I am one the Data Managers for the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, based in the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
I work with Principal Investigators, trial teams, sponsor companies, CRA’s and others to ensure the smooth running of all data aspects of a portfolio of clinical trials run through the Clinical Research Facility. I am responsible for all data entry, query resolution and work closely with clinical teams and external partners to provide accurate data for interim analysis and data locks within clinical trials.
I am the main point of contact for any monitoring activity and oversee CRA visits to the Clinical Research Facility.
Previous Roles
My first role within the Clinical Research Facility was as an Admin Assistant in 2013. I then became Data Manager within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital NHS Foundation Trust working with the Critical Care team, before joining Newcastle University as a Data Manager in 2014.
