I am currently an Assistant Clinical Trials Co-ordinator for the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences. My role sits within the Professional Services team and is held within the Translational and Clinical Institute
I support the activities of the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) and the Clinical Ageing Research Unit (CARU), working to assist and support the Clinical Trial Coordinators to ensure that all trial set-up, with particular reference to clinical trial documentation, is in line with sponsor, regulatory and research governance requirements.
I am responsible for multidisciplinary projects at various stages of development and conduct. I am often the first point of contact for internal and external customers.
My first role at Newcastle University was as a Receptionist at the CRF in 2014. Since then, I have worked as PA to the Director of the CRF and as a Data Manager for the CRF & CARU before commencing my current role in 2020.
