I am a Clinical Trials Associate on the ‘Defining Delirium and its Impact in Parkinson’s Disease’ (DELIRIUM-PD) non-ctIMP. I am based at the Clinical Ageing Research Unit within translational healthcare.
I help Dr Rachael Lawson in co-ordinating this study on a day to day basis. Predominantly, my role involves collecting data from inpatients with PD across the Newcastle University Hospital Trust (NUTH). I utilise semi-structured interviews, observation and standardised cognitive and clinical assessments on attention and memory.
Before beginning this post, I was completing a bachelor of science in Psychology from Northumbria University followed by a master of science in Cognitive Neuroscience at Durham University.
