I am a data manager for the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences. I primarily work on studies based at the Clinical Ageing Research Unit (CARU).
As a data manager, I am responsible for transferring the data collected from our studies to the study Sponsors. Any data queries are also part of my role, and I coordinate with the clinical team to get queries resolved.
Previous Roles
I started in research in 2009 at Durham Clinical Trials Unit, progressing from Trials Administrator to Assistant Clinical Trials Co-ordinator. I have worked as a Trial Manager for Norwich CTU, overseeing a £3 million HTA funded trial.
