I am one of the Ward Clarks for the Clinical Research Facility within the Royal Victoria Hospital.
I work within the CRF welcoming patients onto the ward, answering the telephone and responding to questions and requests. I provide clerical, administrative support to medical, nursing and other staff. Assisting the team to make sure that patientcare and studies run smoothly within the unit, and helping to be certain that we are complying with departmental and Trust policies, and procedures.
I have worked with The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2012 and have held a number of administrative roles across the Freeman and RVI sites, but I have enjoyed the challenges of research for the last few years.
