I am currently the Ward Clerk for Clinical Ageing Research Unit based at Campus for Ageing and Vitality, Newcastle University.
I provide an efficient and professional reception service to patients and visitors dealing with enquiries over the telephone or in person. I operate an appointment system and use E-Record System to amend patient’s information, register new patients, request and track hospital notes, etc.
I interact with nurses and other research staff, giving them practical support as required for their research studies and projects.

My previous role was as Clerk/Receptionist for CARU/NMRC Reception at Newcastle University before I moved to the NHS.
