As a new member of the Paediatric Research Team, I work with colleagues to co-ordinate a variety of studies, trying to find better medicines and treatments to help children and young people with a variety of health problems. I feel I have joined the team at a very exciting time: outstanding progress is being made for children and young people who have conditions that were previously felt to have little hope.

I have been a children’s nurse for almost twenty years. I have experience in critical, palliative, community and emergency care and am enjoying the huge challenge of learning about research.
