I am currently a clinical trial coordinator working as part of the clinical trials team based at the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences. My role is mainly setting up clinical research studies running through the Clinical Research Facility.
I work with internal multidiscipline teams, external stakeholders and commercial Pharmaceutical companies to take studies from initial site selection to active recruitment. As part of the winder Clinical Research Facility team I also process and implement amendments on active studies and try to resolve any issues that may crop up during recruitment and follow up.
Previous Roles
My first role at Newcastle University was with the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility as a Data Manager back in 2014. Since then, I have held a number of roles within the NCRF including Assistant Trial Coordinator and my current role.
