I am currently Clinical Trials Coordinator at the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
I am responsible for the set-up of clinical trials and research projects in various therapeutic areas within the NCRF. This includes dealing with all aspects of trial set-up from assessing feasibility and suitability of studies through to study activation, alongside supporting Newcastle-led grant applications and managing study amendments.
I work closely with external commercial sponsors and internal colleagues across the University, and as part of a collaboration with the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the vast and diverse portfolio of studies delivered within the NCRF.
Previous Roles
Before joining Newcastle University in January 2018, I worked as Clinical Trials Coordinator within the Late Phase Oncology Research Team at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
