Clinical Research Facility RVI

The Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is located in the Leazes Wing of the Royal Victoria Infirmary. It is a

Entrance to CRFcollaboration between Newcastle University and Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The facility was opened in April 2005 by Professor Dame Sally Davies. It is headed by Professor Fai Ng.

The Clinical Research Facility’s highly-trained staff are capable of setting up, negotiating and delivering all phases of clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice Standards.
